MarinusJ One man combo. Amazing. Better than his official debut, because it has that gewisse Etwas the French call je ne sais qoui. Like Laura Mvula's demos are awesommer than her debut; that kitchen and basement feel.

Deidre House A set that's as diverse as it is brief- my only complaint is I wish it were longer! Adam Ben Ezra is an amazingly talented jazz musician. He really knows how to get the most out of his contrabass, and when he supplements it with other instruments the sound approaches chamber jazz. Another gem that had been lost in the wish list- thanks to Jason Gordon for reminding me of it. The video Ed Buckley posted is pro-click indeed. Favorite track: Openland.
